My piece is about self-defence, tying up objects then onto hands and then combining the two with household appliances. When thinking about water it leaves me with a chill, the constant movement makes me want to feel the solid ground that much more. Like on the train during rush hour you’re almost dragged with the current hustle and bustle. I feel as though in society, girls are dropped in the deep end - with a lack of knowledge and protection from those surrounding dangers around us. The lack of visual representation of trauma and the very apparent lasting marks it leaves on those affected.
